• The Iceman is a driver, not a Top Gun character.
• You schedule social activities around race weekends.
• At petrol stations you expect the fuel to be measured in kilos, not litres.
• Two tenths of a second may as well be a million years.
• ‘For sure’ is an acceptable reply for most questions.
• You don’t wake up for early morning races. You stay up for them.

• You name video game characters/pets/inanimate objects after drivers.
• You move items around your shopping trolley to get the balance right, allowing perfect drifting around the circuit aisles.
• You associate countries with drivers/tracks.
