We all know Helmut can be outspoken at times. His comments reflected his opinion, and these things can be misinterpreted. If we weren’t happy with Mark we would never have signed him for this year. We give both drivers equal opportunity and it’s down to what they do on the circuit, certainly in the team, that’s the approach and we’ll continue to do that. For us, it doesn’t matter which driver wins as long as it’s in one of these cars.

As you know i’m off to Malta today so this is scheduled to post on your birthday and it better damn work.

Can’t believe that I’ve only known you for just over a year, feels like I’ve known you forever. Was so great meeting you and Jasmin at Hockenheim last year and I really can’t wait for Silverstone this year. This is proof that this place is so much more than just a website because I honestly think I’ve made a friend for life in you!

Just realised what a strange strange year it has been… 

I skipped a lecture at Uni and met Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip

Had a lovely conversation with Mitch Evans about Mark

Bumped in to Christian Horner while buying tea

Was cycled into by James May

Met Jake Humphrey at a book signing that was actually cancelled

Skipped yet more lectures and spent a whole day chilling with Sir Tom Jones, Jessie J, Danny o’donoghue and Will.i.am

And then ran into a geography hero Professor Iain Stewart outside the pub.

Bring on 2013, shaping up to be even better!

I was going to do a follow forever list for Christmas but then I got pure paranoid that I would miss people out so instead have a lame picture made on paint and a little message. This has been my first full F1 season on Tumblr and it has been a fun ride!So thank you to everyone for the lovely company and understanding some of my strange untagged posts during races. Thank you for the lovely edits and gifs throughout the year I can’t imagine how much effort goes in to those, I mean I struggle with paint so yeah.  Thank you for the messages. Thank you for the laughs. Thank you for the support. And thank you for sharing my love for this crazy sport, without this place I guess I would look very strange shouting at the TV. Whether we speak every day or not at all this message applies to everyone. So cheers and here’s to next year! Merry Christmas and a happy new year, hope you all have the most perfect holidays.
