Cant work out if Mark is coming up to the rugby tomorrow…
I mean, it is Australia vs New Zealand.
And he has been chilling with the team.
This is super important because I’m working it.
And last match I ran into Ross Brawn and almost died so like if I run into Mark it will end me.
So I’d kinda like some warning….
And when he was last up at Old Trafford my friend served him a drink then had a panic attack, so y’know it’s serious shit.
If this is my last post he was there and I most probably made a fool of myself and fell down some stairs in his presence, but be sure I died happy.
And just like that my world comes crashing down in a phone call.
Kinda fitting that yesterday this blog also reached a few milestones, 2000 followers and 19,000 posts. It’s been a hell of a ride!
So thank you to everyone that’s stuck around and to the people that have just jumped aboard, will be a bit different next year but if you squint hard enough it’ll still be cars, bikes and a big dorky Aussie making stupid faces.
So this was my #MadeMyMark entry
And now it’s going to be chilling on Mark’s wall.
Ordered my #MadeMyMark commemorative shirt from Mark’s page.
Way too amused that it has #215Declared on the back.
Going to wear this one with pride :D
Apparently my blog is 3 years old today…
So thank you to everyone who has made the last 3 years so great on here! Met some awesome people and made some awesome friends.
And thanks to this idiot for being the reason for making this thing in the first place…
Here’s to 3 more years!
Rearranged my hat collection yesterday and moved my signed Kevin DAMS cap next to my Jenson McLaren cap.
And now look what happened.
Magic as fuck, thank me later K Mag.
And congrats :3
Was running round the stadium at full speed and ran straight into Ross Brawn.
Smooth Hannah. Smoooth.

1. What is it about Formula 1 that keeps you interested? Or that got you interested in the first place?
I grew up with it, my Dad is a massive motor sports fan so all forms of the sport were a constant throughout my childhood. My twin bro never showed an interest so from about the age of 4 my Dad took me to events. Literally every weekend we were at a motor sport event of some sort. But obviously as the pinnacle of motor sport F1 was always special.
2. Why is your favourite driver your favourite driver? What initially made you stop and think “wow this guy’s a legend”?
The first time i was like ‘wow ok that guy is the one i pick to ruin my life’ was Fuji 07. Constantly throwing up in his crash helmet during the race and he just carried on racing
until Seb wiped him out. It sounds corny as fuck but to me everything about Mark is inspiring. He’s just such a good man.
3. If you were in Kimi’s position at Lotus, what would you have done differently or done the same? Would you have continued to race after India?
It’s no secret that I am not a fan of Kimi or his attitude in general. Maybe airing the team’s dirty laundry in public wasn’t the smartest of ideas but I can’t blame him, I probably would have done the same. And yes I would continue to race, he is an F1 driver, only 22 people in the world have the chance to do what he does.
4. Do you think the FIA should appoint a set group of stewards for each season instead of having different people with different opinions on the same situations?
Sweet jesus yes. The inconsistency in penalties is an absolute joke.
5. What teams car do you think is the prettiest?
In pictures the Red Bull is beautiful but in real life the chrome of the McLaren is breathtaking.
6. If your favourite driver or favourite team (some go hand in hand) wasn’t around, who do you think you’d support and why?
Fernando and Ferrari, the passion is just amazing. Witnessing it first hand at Monza this year was an honor.
7. What is your absolute favourite memory of Formula 1 (it can be in this season or any season, your choice)?
Mark’s first win. So much emotion, even my Dad cried. It’s just amazing to see all his hard work pay off, he owned it!
8. Should women be involved in Formula 1 (in relation to being allowed to drive)?
Of course, if they have the speed. I don’t think they should be treated differently, if they are fast they should have the seat. I don’t like the idea of a woman getting a seat for publicity. She should earn it the same as the boys.
9. Hulkenberg: Does he deserve the drive at Lotus and if not, why?
10. If you could say anything to any team principal, what would it be and to who?
It would be to Christian and I would say thank you. It’s been a rocky ride at some points but if it wasn’t for him and Red Bull Racing Mark wouldn’t have the amazing memories that mean so much to him. Wish i’d said that when when me and Ash met him at Hockenheim but I just joked about how I was trying to form a nice British queue in the middle of a crazy German crowd, he seemed to appreciate it though.
Bonus lurking Babs and Red Bull Spy who posted a picture of our butts on facebook.
11. Thoughts on Ricciardo at RBR?
So proud of him and so excited to see what he can do! He deserves it and i’m so glad he got the seat over Kimi.
I’m lazy and have to go out now so no tagging but thanks for the questions! :D
Me and my housemate got drunk and made our beer fridge into a shrine for Guy and Rossi with an offering of a tea bag for Guy and pasta for Rossi.
